UB School of Law Collaborates with Central Book Supply for Book Donation

The University of Baguio School of Law (UB-SL) has partnered with Central Book Supply Inc. for a book donation drive geared towards expanding the university’s repository of learning materials, supporting the university’s goal of providing quality education to its students.

Dozens of titles were handed over to the university, including copies of The Revised Corporate Code of The Philippines and Labor Laws of the Philippines, to name a few. These books will allow the School of Law to cover their courses more comprehensively, providing students with the resources necessary to support their education and ensure that their learning journey is enriched with up-to-date legal knowledge.

The donation activity was attended by UB President Engr. Javier Herminio Bautista, alongside the Dean of the School of Law Atty. John Ray Libiran, Chief Librarian Mr. John Nigel Millare, and Vice President of Central Book Supply Dr. Girlie Jacala.

The University of Baguio always aims to establish partnerships that can aid in its journey to provide balanced quality education at every level. This collaboration with Central Book Supply Inc. serves as an important stepping stone in being able to provide a comprehensive education to future professionals that will allow them to address the needs of an ever-evolving industry.

This activity is in line with the university’s journey to attain the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal No. 4: Quality Education and Goal No. 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

UB extends its sincerest gratitude to Central Book Supply Inc. for their generous donation. May the future hold even more fruitful collaborative efforts!
